Use our contact form for privacy questions, complaints, correction requests or requests to delete your account. You do not need to sign in to contact us.
What we collect
We store your display name, email address, password hash, account verification and session records. We also store listings, uploaded photos, general location, messages, reports, blocks advertising enquiries and support requests. Technical logs may include IP address and request information for security and fault diagnosis.
What other people can see
Your display name, listing text, photos, general location and seller type appear on published listings. Your email and private conversations are not public. Conversation participants can read their messages. The operator may access reported content and relevant records to investigate abuse or support requests.
How we use and store information
We use this information to operate accounts, publish listings, deliver messages and essential account emails, moderate content and maintain the service. Railway hosts the application, PostgreSQL database and photos. Resend delivers transactional emails. If you use the AI gear finder or listing starter, your prompt is sent to OpenAI to interpret your request. We do not send your account details or private messages with it. Avoid including personal information in prompts. Listing starters are temporarily kept in this browser until loaded into the listing form (up to 24 hours). These providers may process data outside your country. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and communications
Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect your session. A preference cookie remembers your selected marketplace and currency. We estimate your country from your IP address using a database on our server, with browser language as a fallback. We do not request GPS access or send your IP address to a geolocation service. You can change country at any time. We do not currently use advertising tracking cookies. Account verification, password reset and message notifications support the service. We do not add you to marketing email lists when you register.
Retention and your choices
You can edit or remove your listings and block other accounts. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of account data. We retain information while needed to provide the service and investigate abuse or disputes; necessary records may remain where retention is required. Backup copies are removed through the backup retention cycle. We will explain any information we must retain when responding to a deletion request.
